TCATS is an indoor show that was created for folks to buy, sell, and trade their USED archery and related gear. The first was held in Kalamazoo 2020 and was a huge success. The next show will be held in Kalamazoo Michigan in conjunction with the Traditional Bowhunter Expo January 2025. Visit the TCATS tab for more details.
We sell hunting clothing, boots, packs and hats, and more; anything you might use in bowhunting.
Sort of. I am new to Facebook as of this year. I will be creating more content for the website and TCATS on FB. You can find Traditional and Classic Archery Trade Show group on FB. This will be an ever-evolving site.
Yes, but contact me first for more detail.
Yes. But, we are extremely meticulous about our descriptions and photos, so that the buyer will be sure of what they are getting. We ask that all buyers ask questions and be sure before purchasing. No one likes to deal with returns and we don't want dissatisfied customers. Buyer pays for return insured shipping. Refunds given up on inspection of returned item.
Remember, I am selling used and vintage bows. There are no guarantees or warranty. All flaws and defects will be described in detail. On rare occasion I might sell a severely twisted bow in the "project" section, and it will be noted. But unless noted, all limbs are straight. We know bows, so we know how to find or describe flaws that aren't easily noticed. Aside from basic cleaning, all bows are sold "as found as is". As long as I've sold bows, I do not alter, polish, refinish, or repair bows. Again, I've learned that most collectors like to do things their own way, be it cleaning, repairing or restoring.
Yes and yes.. And we buy bows and collections. Email me anytime at imfixin2@protonmail.com
Between me and my partner, that will be joining soon, we have over 2000 bows to sell, and an astounding amount of accessories, paper, arrows, and gear to go with it. Almost all is vintage. It will take many years to sell it. And this does not include bows and collections coming in over the future. I will be adding new bows and other items every week or two. Just check the "New Arrivals" every week. That said, GoDaddy does not offer a notification system, or, the feature of scheduling inventory dumps. They might offer this in the future. In the meantime, all I can suggest is checking a couple times a week. I do not have the ability to upload inventory on a regularly scheduled time or day. I appreciate the understanding.
This website will be ever evolving. I'm learning as I go. If you see a mistake or have a suggestion, email me. We want this to be user friendly and fun as possible for everyone visiting.
No, they do not. The reasons for that are many. One, everyone has their preference to what type of string they use. Sometimes people put FF on a bow that can't take the stress. I also can't afford a new $20 string for every bow, then the customer may not want or use it. If I buy a bow with a used string, I will leave it on the bow and sell it as is. Point is, very few bows will come with new strings. If I do not have a string for a bow, I will note that. But I will photo bows using one of my own strings on occasion if no string goes with the bow. ALWAYS USE A BOW STRINGER.
I use a simple 1-10 scale, and will notate in the description all flaws and high points. I also describe things in detail so that there are no surprises when you get the bow.
